Launching 2009, AT HOME FINE ART is an innovative fine art consultancy specializing in work by exceptional emerging and mid-career California artists. With over fifteen years of experience representing artists and collectors via Artbrokering.com, Laguna Fine Arts and Strategic Fine Art, our mission in this new project is to assist both newer and established collectors in acquiring significant work created exclusively by living California artists.
Our goal is to advance collector and market awareness of work by under-recognized and/or under-represented Southern California painters and make AHFA an exclusive destination and reliable resource for quality work by these California painters.
We're looking to form a small number of new alliances with notable emerging and mid-career California artists who are interested in bridging the gap between their work and a qualified local and national audience, ultimately seeing their work championed and sold. If you are an accomplished Southern California artist, preferably BFA/MFA, with a solid body of work, we welcome your submission.
Presently, we are only considering painters who are creating original 2-D work on canvas and/or panel (no digital, prints or work on paper as the artist's primary media) and generally within the following styles and genres:
Transitional Landscape Realism Color Field Atmospheric/Abstract Landscape Social Realism Non-Objective Urban Landscape Figurative Expressionism Romantic Landscape Genre California Impressionism Bay Area Figurative/Landscape
We are looking for inventive, original work which subtly or profoundly embodies your influences - work which you might describe as powerful, compelling, polished, beautiful, provocative and/or painterly.
Work utilizing wax, encaustic, resin or other layered media is of strong interest.
To facilitate exhibition, meetings, collaboration and transport of your artwork, at this time we’re looking to work only with artists residing in the Southern California area.
If your work is of acknowledged quality and identifies with the above requirements and guidelines, we encourage you to submit your work.
